Reflections: Whole-life Recovery Community
Who We are
Reflections: Whole life Recovery Community developed in partnership with Northampton County Office of Mental Health and is founded upon years of community advocacy that recognizes the value of peer-to-peer support.
Our goal is to ease the feelings of panic, anger, powerlessness, and frustration through a common connection. This common connection offers a non-judgmental, trusting relationship within which individuals can explore new methods of dealing with personal triggers.
We provide a non-medical supportive approach where individuals can find hope and healing.
"As a team, we pledge to build on a person's natural strengths and provide linkages to natural community supports."
While You are Here
Guests can choose from a variety of wellness activities on an individual or group basis such as:
...for individuals who are experiencing distress and feel they will benefit from participation in a short term, 24 hour peer-to-peer supportive environment with others who have 'been there.'
Reflections strives to provide a safe place in which each person can find the balance and support needed to turn what is so often reffered to as 'crisis' into a learning and growth opportunity.
Services are based upon several core values including connections with others, self determination and personal strength, mutuality, optimism, healing environments, and respect.
While at Reflections, you'll have the opportunity to connect with people who know how to listen and who have 'been there." You'll als have the privacy of your own room, time to reflect on what is happening in your life and learn how to grow beyond your current challenges. You'll be in charge of how you use your time during your stay.
"Recovery is a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, and live a self-directed life in order to reach their full potential."
By working in a peer-to-peer collaborative partnership, we provide hope, support, and assistance to help our peers achieve individual goals and objectives, while fostering recovery in a community enviroment.
