Promote individual recovery and strengthen communities
Who We Are:Recovery Partnership is a not-for-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as having 501(c)3 Tax-Exempt status. Our organization provides individuals and their families with a method for voicing their praises and concerns regarding the behavioral health services they may receive; a toll-free peer line for individuals in Northampton County; peer mentoring services to individuals receiving behavioral health services; certified peer specialist services; and we provide a safe, culturally sensitive environment to individuals in Northampton County who are coping with or recovering from mental illness.
Our Vision:The vision of Recovery Partnership is to have a behavioral-healthcare system that includes the consumer in every level of the design, implementation, and oversight of the programs within that system. We encourage consumers to take a more active role in these processes through increased communication between consumers, service providers, family members, and county and state offices.
The Free Mental Health Sensitivity Trainings focus on three different areas: Understanding Serious and Persistent Mental Illness, Understanding Emergency Services and the 302 Process, and Understanding the Impact of Insensitivity as it Relates to Mental Health Recovery. This training is held every other month and is hosted by Recovery Partnership. The trainings are held in Recovery Partnership’s Training Annex, 64 West North Street, Bethlehem, PA. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP with Angela of Recovery Partnership at (610) 861-2741.
